Walking into the wildlife Preserve (Florida Landscape Photographer)

There is a new development on East Orlando called Woodland Lakes Preserve.  There are homes that are being built in front of the the preserve which by the way will continue to be a wildlife preserve. Once all the homes are built there will be no way to get through since it will be completely blocked off by the homes.  Only the people that live in the homes will have access to the area. Since the homes are not yet completed by the builder I took the opportunity to walk into the preserve and take some pictures.

These were taken during the Sunrise

So the tree rustles in the evening, when we stand uneasy before our own childish thoughts: Trees have long thoughts, long-breathing and restful, just as they have longer lives than ours. They are wiser than we are, as long as we do not listen to them. But when we have learned how to listen to trees, then the brevity and the quickness and the childlike hastiness of our thoughts achieve an incomparable joy. Whoever has learned how to listen to trees no longer wants to be a tree. He wants to be nothing except what he is. That is home. That is happiness.”
― Hermann Hesse

To him, who still would gaze upon the glory of the summer sun, there comes, when that sun will from him part, a sullen hopelessness of heart........Edgar Allan Poe

“The forest has shrunk
And fear has expanded,
The forests have dwindled,
There are less animals now,
less courage and less lightning,
less beauty
and the moon lies bare,
deflowered by force and
then abandoned.”
― Visar Zhiti

The next ones I am sharing were taken during the sunset. I have researched this location to see if the body of water was a lake but it is just simply a pond without a name currently but very pristine and beautiful.  Very natural and the area is rich with wildlife from turtles, fish, and native florida wildflowers.

“What an irony it is that these living beings whose shade we sit in,
whose fruit we eat, whose limbs we climb, whose roots we water, to
whom most of us rarely give a second thought, are so poorly
understood. We need to come, as soon as possible, to a profound
understanding and appreciation for trees and forests and the vital
role they play, for they are among our best allies in the uncertain
future that is unfolding.”
― Jim Robbins, The Man Who Planted Trees: Lost Groves, Champion Trees, and an Urgent Plan to Save the Planet
