My morning adventures in Deerfield Beach, Florida

During Memorial day many people visit the memorials and cemeteries to honor those who have died in military service, since it is a long weekend a lot of people also take a little vacation, I was one of the many this year.  I chose Deerfield Beach for my  getaway. I picked a hotel in front of the beach and of course my camera was with me.  Whenever I travel I always bring my camera.  It is as if something is missing if I forget to bring it.

My first day at the beach was great, I woke up early for the sunrise the weather was perfect and there were no clouds in the sky just the pure sun and a few people taking pictures with their iPhones. It was just me, myself and my camera.

Those of you who have followed me for a while and have seen my pictures would know that I somehow have a fascination for flying things which you will notice in the next two pictures I have included.

I tried my best to walk as quickly as possible to get to the pier but did not make it since I stubbed my foot on something sharp, not to mention the sand was soft and my foot would sink every time I took a step making my walk much longer than anticipated. So I had to take the picture from far away.  Thinking to myself with determination, tomorrow I will make it to that pier.

I tried to wake up early once again the second day at the beach so I can go to the pier and failed miserably after sitting in front of the roulette table for 8 hours the night before, the smell of cigarette smoke and loud music of the live band playing at the Hard Rock Casino I ended up with a massive headache in the end.

Third day on the beach I was awake early for the sunrise however this time the sun was just covered by clouds.  I still took some pictures.  This time I made it to the pier.

This Pier is known as the International Fishing Pier.  it is a 976 foot Pier and you cannot help but notice it from a distance because it is a very long pier that extends out very far.  It attracts a lot of fishermen and visitors like me.

This concludes my early morning adventures at Deerfield Beach.
